Mental Health Association in Greensboro - The Association conducts programs which help promote better mental health, provides support to those who suffer from mental illness and strives to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness through education and service. MHAG offers ten free weekly support groups, peer support specialists who provide assistance and encouragement to individuals in their recovery, A Latino Mental Health Campaign, and a Suicide Prevention Program. Mental Health Association - High Point – Destiny House, a psychosocial rehabilitation day programs for severely and persistently mentally ill adults, offers psychological, vocational, educational and other rehabilitation services to mentally ill adults 18 years of age or older, through programming that is offered up to 5 days per week and 5 hours. Insight Program (Stonebraker’s) – Intensive outpatient, outpatient and individual counseling.

• The Insight Intensive Outpatient Program is a comprehensive program designed to assist individuals, between the ages of 13 and 25, in the beginning stages of their recovery. I.O.P. consists of group counseling, individual counseling, and family counseling. Group sessions are four hours per day, five days a week. Parents are involved through both weekly sessions with a counselor and weekly parent meetings. For individuals successfully discharged from I.O.P. a twelve week After Care Program is offered.

• The Outpatient Program is similar to Intensive Outpatient but is less of a time commitment. Outpatient consists of group counseling, individual counseling, and family counseling. Group sessions are for three hours, three evenings per week. Parents are involved through weekly sessions with a counselor and weekly parent meetings. Outpatient is an eight week program. For individuals successfully discharged from Outpatient, a six week After Care program is offered.

• Insight offers fee based individual counseling for people who would benefit from drug and alcohol abuse counseling, but do not need Outpatient or Intensive Outpatient. As a part of individual counseling, the counselor, the client, and the client's family will devise a comprehensive plan that may include support group meetings, social functions, and other activities to support the client's recovery.

Summit House of the Piedmont – Summit House is a residential intermediate community corrections program for nonviolent women offenders who have young dependent children or who are pregnant. Offenders live with their children under close supervision as they learn to correct their criminal behavior. The program encompasses drug and alcohol treatment, parenting skills, educational coaching, mental health treatment, life skills, employment skills, supportive housing and aftercare while serving as an alternative to prison.

Arthur Cassell Memorial Transitional House - Open Door Ministries - Arthur Cassell Memorial Transitional House is a transitional living facility for fourteen homeless men who have a desire to live independently in the local community. The Arthur Cassell House helps men through the transition from being homeless and jobless to obtaining employment and permanent housing. Each client learns the importance being accountable and responsible, money management, personal re-connection to a spiritual lifestyle, service to the local community, and healing interpersonal relationships. Clients receive case management, employment counseling, and assistance in obtaining permanent housing.
