Access to quality, affordable care is a challenge in our community, however several community based initiatives have emerged to help strengthen Guilford County’s resident’s ability to have access to care.
• Guilford Community Care Network - provides access to primary care, specialty care, medication, support services and case management to Guilford County residents who might lack access to or resources for health care. For more information, call 832-9566.

• Guilford County NaCo Prescription Drug Discount Card - Guilford County residents can take advantage of a free prescription drug discount card that can save them an average of 20 percent on prescription medicines. The card provides immediate discounts at the pharmacy and is at no cost to the county, county taxpayers or consumers to participate in the program. • Guilford County Medication Assistance Program – The Guilford County Department of Public Health assist residents who are at or below the Federal Poverty level and who have a chronic condition with purchasing prescriptions.
